Historic Walking Tours

See a wide variety of neighborhoods in Washington, from the halls of Congress to the newest neighborhoods being gentrified in front of our eyes.

Tour 1:  The Mall

From the Capital to the Lincoln Memorial, an intimate walk and discussion on the history of both the city itself and the evolution of the Mall.  2 hours

Tour 2:  Dupont Circle.  The historic mansions and weird/quirky stories about one of the most unusual neighborhoods in DC.

Tour 3:  Georgetown.  Stroll the backstreets, see the mansions and the tiny houses, all with stories from Colonial times to the Kennedy presence.

Tour 4:  Embassy Row. More of a architecture tour than historical; modern embassies, converted mansions from the robber-baron days, and unforgettable views.
